Goldfish Rush

The theme for the jam was "All that glistens is not gold". When I heard the word gold, my mind immediately jumped to the California Gold Rush in the 19th century. So that's what this game is about! In this game, you play as a fish that has been trained to collect gold from the rivers. Be careful though! You may encounter squids that will blind you or hungry anglerfish that would chase you to the ends of the earth. 

The programming and level design was done by me. All the art in the game was made by my friend. You can find him on Instagram under the name @dofra_draws445. 

This game didn't turn out to be as good as we imagined it and we know we can improve. Please feel free to tell us how. Hope you have fun!

How to Play:

Left Click to move player towards mouse. There are 25 nuggets of gold scattered around the map that you need to collect. Do this simply by touching them. When you have collected all 25, return to the spawn area and go inside the cage to finish the game.
